Originally from El Salvador, Jose began his career at 3M in 1989 in the Treasury and Finance Department in 3M El Salvador. Since then he has occupied a series of regional and global roles that have led him to his current responsibility, Vice President,3M Sourcing Operations (since 2016). Previously, he was Vice President & General Manager of Capital Safety/3M.
In 2014, Jose was Vice President & General Manager of Personal Safety Division. From 2011-2014 he occupied the role of Managing Director in Brazil, and prior to that he was in the charge of leading the Finance area for Asia Pacific and Latin America, along with the role of Sales & Operations Planning director for that region. A few years back he held the role of MD for 3M Chile, GM of 3M Panama, and several roles within the Latin America Subsidiaries in Finance, where he started his career with 3M.
